Prizes for 1st 3 in male, female and 1st. in all Vet Categories from V40.
Team prizes 1st 3 count (club vests must be worn). Medals to all fun runners, mementos to 5k finishers.
5k minimum age 11. Fun run under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Parking on site, changing, toilet facilities and refreshments.

Race Route & Description

A flat road PB course, starting on Lonsdale Road near the first houses at Canal Foot. It runs past Glaxo factory, over the roundabout, and then down Morecambe Road to Outcast. You take a left turn by the river's edge and the Old Tannery Buildings. After a few bends on the narrow road, you take a right turn through the bollards into the Siemens Estate. On exiting the estate, you retrace your steps, taking a left turn into Cross Lane, opposite the allotments. Take a right onto North Lonsdale Road and return to the roundabout. Head back to the club house car park, before finishing in front of Ulverston Park (formerly Glaxo) Sports Clubhouse.
